In 2006, an alliance was sealed between François LONGUETEAU and Grégoire HAYOT to provide the estate with a modern facility to raise the eaux-de-vie produced at the distillery.
The company Marquisat de Sainte-Marie is created, facilities adapted to raise the eaux-de-vie produced at the distillery are built and the iconic Karukera brand of the 1970s is resurrected for the productions of this new unit.
